Erika Wirkkala, is a seasoned communications executive with more than 15 years of professional experience. Throughout the course of her career she has advised several public as well as privately-held companies. She has offered counsel and led campaigns for leading brands such as Education Management Corporation, Union Bank N.A., Pennsylvania Department of Health and Human Services, The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Continuous Learning Group, Inc. She serves as an advisor to brands who are seeking to enhance reputation through strategic media relations campaigns. She has secured positive media placements in outlets such as Wall Street Journal, Fortune, People, The Today Show and scores of other regional and trade publications.

She began her career in marketing communications in the early 90's while working at the powerhouse P.R. agency, Hill & Knowlton Public Relations in Los Angeles. Her professional experience includes media relations, multicultural communications, consumer marketing, social marketing, speech writing and experiential marketing. Her past PR experience and knowledge brings to the PEG Group an unparalleled foundation of expertise in streamlining successful campaigns for our PR clients. Erika obtained a B.A. in Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
